Alexi Quintana Mathé is a PhD Student at the Network Science Institute, working with Dr. David Lazer. His research focuses on topics such as social networks, computational social science, and social media. Currently, he studies following patterns on Twitter and the Covid-19 pandemic impact on social capital in the US. His interests on harm reduction and substance use information led him to collaborate with the Lab, where he studies the spread of fentanyl misinformation. He also volunteers with Energy Control, a non-profit working on harm reduction in Spain, his home country.
