Alexis Weldner

Alexis is a third-year Honors student at Northeastern University, working toward a dual degree in Political Science and Business Management, with minors in Sociology and Law and Public Policy. Her deep interest in public health policy, corporate ethics, and legal advocacy is fueled by her work at the Lab. Here, she contributes to the Drug-Induced Homicide project. Alexis has conveyed her findings by writing articles in the Northeastern University Political Review and she was recently recognized with Northeastern's prestigious Sears B. Condit Award. Alexis is preparing for her co-op at the Public Health Advocacy Institute, eager to expand her advocacy and research. Outside of her academic pursuits, she is a passionate dancer, performing with the Northeastern University Dance Company and teaching dance at Urbanity Dance and the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester.
