Sophia Cassim

Sophia Cassim is a fourth-year Northeastern student studying Public Health with a minor in Law & Public Policy and Cultural Anthropology. At the lab, she is currently helping to support the new initiative of SHIELD 2.0 and has worked on the CAPS and NUCLR projects. At Northeastern she is the Partnership Manager of Boston Health Initiative (BHI) and a Health Equity Intern as part of Northeastern's Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice Research. She is interested in the intersection of public health, health policy and equity to uplift the voices of those who have been ignored by the systems at place. She enjoys going to the gym, exploring Boston, and reading in her free time.
